ANGELA GOH, FOUNDER

With 34 years of experience Angela has held executive positions in the real estate, hospitality, commercial, and domestic cleaning industries throughout Australia and Asia, Angela is well known for her vibrant personality and excellent sales and marketing skills. A natural ability to network and build professional relationships, with a great eye for detail, organized, and excellent time management skills.

Angela was born in Malaysia and attended school in Singapore, before starting her career in the hotel industry as a Waitress at Crown Prince Hotel Singapore. Angela rose through the ranks and has held roles including Butler, Restaurant Supervisor, Housekeeping Senior Supervisor, and Executive Housekeeper for many 5 Star Hotels around the world. Angela has literally dealt one on one with Presidents, Royalties, Prime Ministers….and the odd rock star. She knows how to deal with the famously rich and discerningly private.

She has led many teams – from small groups to 1000 housekeeping staff and supplied housekeeping staff to the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.  Her experience, integrity, and energy produce excellent results for her clients. She has extensive hotel pre-opening experience and has provided housekeeping services to multi-national hotels such as Stamford Group of Hotels, Oaks Group, Park Hyatt, Starwood Group, Star City Casino Sydney, and Meritus Mandarin Singapore.

Liz Lycette – Owner and Director of Lycette and Associates

Liz has over 40 years of international experience, across 30 countries working and consulting at senior levels in hotels and major events including 5 Olympic Games. Her latest position of over 7 years was at JW Marriott Macau and the Ritz-Carlton, Macau where she was involved in the hotel openings with over 1250 rooms, 340 staff, and shared services in an integrated casino resort environment.

As Owner and Director of Lycette and Associates, Housekeeping Management Consultants, she has conducted over 300 audits and housekeeping operational reviews globally and trained some 550 Housekeeping Managers with training programs developed and delivered by herself.

She is passionate about the pursuit of excellence in all types of housekeeping operations. With her enthusiastic and open, energetic management style, she thrives on problem-solving and achieving outstanding results for her clients.

 

ANDREW BARTY-KING, ADVISOR

Andrew is an experienced hotel professional. His career in Europe and Asia Pacific encompasses Food and Beverage and Rooms Management, (Executive Housekeeper, Rooms Division Manager); also, Executive Assistant Manager roles, all with well-known international hotel chains. He has worked in Business, Resort, and Airport properties and specialized in renovation and pre-opening projects in Sydney, Auckland, Guam, Beijing, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, and other mainland China locations.

CLAUDIA GUIMARÃES, TEAM LEADER 

Claudia is an invaluable member of the Zen Resources team. She is from Brazil, mixed with Japanese and Brazilian heritage. She has been part of Zen Resources from Day One! She is meticulous, loyal,  detail-oriented, and has a great attitude. As a Housekeeping Team Leader base in the sunny Gold Coast, she regularly visits properties to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and satisfaction.

Claudia loves being in the water and is a lady with many talents, she is currently studying the Science of Biology and possesses a Leadership & Management degree. Despite her busy schedule, Claudia is an art enthusiast. She is always exploring in her spare time to discover exciting art exhibitions.

Joao Portal – Graphic Designer

Joao creates magic on a daily basis!

Originally from Brazil, Joao has been with Zen Resources from the beginning! As a graphic designer with over 7 years of experience, he brings a cool and creative flavour to Zen Resources in print, brand and digital design.

Joao gained his strong creative and technical skills during his 7+ years of industry experience which allows him to work efficiently and with a great eye for detail.

Joao loves to cook, swim and enjoys playing chess.

Gracee Zednanref, Personal Assistant

Gracee is from the Philippines and Zen Resources is thrilled to have her join the team. Gracee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication with extensive experience in digital marketing.

She is a problem-solver by nature and loves tackling complex coding challenges. Gracee plays an important role for Zen Resources as a support to our Founder Angela Goh.

Gracee loves reading crime novels and enjoys bike riding.
